Neurofeedback Research

Over the last couple decades, researchers have published hundreds of outcome studies and case reports supporting the efficacy of neurofeedback for a wide range of mental health disorders. While some argue more research is needed, the fact exists that research continues to support that 95% of people respond to neurofeedback improving symptoms by, on average, 60-80%.

FAQ: Of the hundreds of studies listed below none have reported lasting adverse effects. Like any effective treatment, there can be short-lived side effects. Effects such as difficulty falling asleep, inattention, irritability, sadness, restlessness, and headaches have been reported. However, these effects are usually gone the next day, and it is almost always possible to make adjustments in how the training is done so that they do not recur.
